First skiing trip to Club Fields after skiing in many places across the globe. The skiing was amazing including a great day Heli Skiing & the famous NZ Club fields which cater for some amazing skiing! Which is a must. The area that really made the trip so memorable was the service levels of the genuine NZ Staff, which Simon & Tom lead the charge. Both the Skiing expertise & when back at the lodge with 5 star cooking & just importantly wine. An absolute must do if you want to ski stunning terrain with amazing service. Exactly the Ski experience that makes me want to go back for more. Fantastic to meet the families and makes it feel so relaxed. No doubt will be back for another round, have already discussed it with the group that I went with, thanks for the amazing memories.

A culinary experience.
As a working station (ranch) High Peak is much more than a hunting lodge. We are proud of what we produce here and it is our pleasure to share it with you.
We think a good hunting trip requires a few vital ingredients – good people, good land, good people, good animals, a good bed and good food. New Zealand produces some of the best red meat in the world and High Peak is proud to offer grass-fed lamb, beef and venison, along with our own wild honey. We combine these elements with the best local produce and seafood for a uniquely local dining experience.

Your own private chef.
At High Peak we have two superb chefs for our guests. Hilary and John alternate between hunts and bring decades of cooking experience to the table.
The intimate nature of our lodge, with a maximum of 12 guests at any time, means we can cater to most dietary requirements and preferences. As long as we know in advance (as we are a bit of a drive from the shops), we can cater for pretty much anyone. Meals usually constitute a cooked or continental breakfast, packed field lunch and three-course evening meal.
Think of it as having your own personal chef for a week!

Excellent local beverages.
In keeping with our ‘local’ theme, we are proud to offer quality beverages from our region.
We supply wines for some of the best Canterbury vineyards, Pegasus and Main Divide, with beer supplied by Blenheim-based craft brewery Moa. These are supplemented by a bar featuring a range of local and international spirits. We also supply an extensive range of non-alcoholic beverages.
Beverages are included as part of every High Peak package.

Sharing our experiences over dinner.
The lodge dining table is a central part of the High Peak experience. Each evening, where hunting allows, we sit down together to share stories from the day’s adventures.
When you hunt with us, we invite you to bring your experiences and stories literally to the table. Every hunt is different, as is every hunter, and we want to hear your story.
